I like your approach to the lesson. I too am wary about teaching lessons focused on the Second Coming. All too often class members are more interested in specific signs and their fulfillment, not on how to live a life more integrated with that of the Savior and Heavenly Father. As you mentioned, the Spirit is the key ingredient in providing a great teaching environment. Thanks for checking out my blog.

I just taught this lesson today. You can see my lesson outline on my blog. It was a tough topic to keep upbeat but thanks to great comments I believe we pulled it off. Isn’t it amazing how if you do your best as a teacher the Lord always makes up the difference?

I love your handouts but I’m a lesson ahead of you how does that happen. I notice that you don’t seem to give lessons on your ward conference day. We do so I think that is the discrepancy. I really love it when you work ahead but I also know that isn’t always possible. Thanks for your willingness to share this it is fabulous

I truly enjoy your handouts for the Gospel Doctrine class. Although I am not the teacher, I like to prepare by thoroughly studying the subject matter. A very interesting and useful site, however being Dec. 19 we finished lesson 47 today leaving one lesson to finish off the year. This would have been such a big help had I received it earlier.

Your lesson helps and handouts are so great. They give me an outline and understanding of the lesson that I had not been able to find previously. I cannot find the last 2 lessons. Lesson 47 and 48. Are they available somewhere on your website??
