Music from Our Pioneer Heritage In class every Sunday I bring recordings of music that fit the week’s lesson theme. Last Sunday, I played this recording of a popular Mormon folksong from the 1840s called “The Upper California.” It is performed by the Mormon Symphony and Mormon Youth Chorus.
